We have great pleasure in introducing another new PhD student, Rosmin Johnson, who has joined the SafeREnergy community.
Her research, based at Deakin University and overseen by Md Mokhlesur Rahman, Ying (Ian) Chen and Rizwan Ur Rehman Sagar, will focus on solid-state batteries.
Rosmin completed her Masters in Nanoscience and Technology at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi, India in 2022. She has also undertaken an Internship in Battery Materials in Log9 Materials, India in 2023. Her past research mainly focused on the electrochemistry of Lithium cobalt Oxide (LCO) cathodes.
Her masters thesis was focused on ” Recycling of Lithium ion batteries” which was published in Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry as “Spent-graphite anode from failed batteries: Regeneration and chemical prelithiation for sustainable fresh Li-ion batteries”.
Rosmin, welcome to the SafeREnergy Hub – we look forward to hearing about your research progress.
